Cue Manager’s full screen timer is a great way to let your presenters know how much time they have left, and even send messages directly to them.
The full screen timer shows you how much time is left in the current cue and works for cues you are currently calling, as well as anyone you decide to follow. It also shows the cue sheet name, current cue name, next cue name, and even a column’s text if you wish.
Accessing the Full Screen Timer #
There are 2 ways to access the full screen timer. The first way is to simply click the timer button in the upper right corner of your cue sheet. The second way is to click on one of the column dropdowns, then select timer. When you select via the dropdown, that column’s text will be displayed underneath the timer.
Over/Under #
The full screen timer counts down based on the time a cue was called. Once you are running over, the text will turn red and start counting up.
Some users like to create a dedicated column and use it to send messages to a timer displayed on a confidence monitor. Great for sending a “please wrap it up” message if a presenter has gone over time.
Options #
If you do not wish to have a column displayed, you can simply click the column dropdown and select none.
You can also toggle the “up next” cue on or off by clicking the forward button in the upper right corner.
There is also a full screen button to enable your browser’s full screen mode without having to dig into browser menus.
