Timezones

Upon creation of a project, you will be prompted to set a default timezone. This is meant to be used as a default for when you create project items such as Cue Sheets, Schedules, and Timelines. Since these project items can each have their own independant timezone, it’s sometimes handy to have the timezone dropdown automatically default to a particular timezone upon creation of a new project item unless you change it.

Each project item will have any times displayed in their respective timezones, while the overall project view will have it’s details displayed in the project’s default timezone. For example, if a project has a timezone of America/Chciago, but a cue sheet has a timezone of America/New_York, the cue sheet will display it’s times in New York time, while the project will display it’s times in Chicago time.
